Bahrain welcomes delegations for World Boccia Challenge

The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to receive participating sports delegations as the countdown begins for the World Boccia Challenge - Bahrain 2025. The Isa bin Rashid Sports Hall (D) is scheduled to host the prestigious tournament from April 19th to 23rd.
Participating delegations are beginning to arrive in the Kingdom over the next two days, starting today. Athletes and administrators from across the globe are converging in preparation for this significant sporting event. The championship has attracted a distinguished group of participants, with over 70 athletes and 97 administrators representing 14 countries worldwide, underscoring the international significance of the competition.
Hamad Al-Ahmad, Head of the Reception and Transportation Committee, affirmed the committee’s utmost readiness and complete preparedness to provide fully equipped transportation suitable for the needs of athletes with determination. He stated, “Precise and comprehensive plans have been developed to provide comfortable and safe transportation that respects the privacy and requirements of individuals with determination, ensuring the seamless transfer of all participants to and from their accommodations. A selection of hotels and service facilities equipped to the highest standards has also been allocated to meet all the needs of the athletes and ensure a comfortable and ideal environment for them throughout their stay.”
Furthermore, Al-Aswad, Head of the Technical Committees, announced the completion of preparations for the training centers and designated competition venues, confirming the readiness of all sports equipment to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the competitions.
These meticulous preparations reflect the Kingdom of Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional edition of the World Boccia Challenge and highlighting its distinguished capabilities in hosting and organizing major international sporting events.
