Ebrahim K. Kanoo partners Bahrain Triathlon Club at Ironman 70.3

Ebrahim K.Kanoo tied up with the Bahrain Triathlon Club (BTC) as one of their key sponsors for the 2015-2016 season.  

As part of this on-going partnership, Ebrahim K. Kanoo helped supply the team with competition and training kits and sponsored their training camps and international coaches to help them achieve greater success and compete in local, regional and international sport events. 

Around 100 members participated in the first Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship Bahrain on December 5. The event was held under the patronage of SCYS Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. 

Allan Sword of the Bahrain Triathlon Club commented, “We are very proud to be associated with Ebrahim K Kanoo. Their sponsorship has enabled us to take the club to a higher level with training camps and plans from world class athletes such as Karlyn Pipes and Lesley Paterson. Our club members also love the new kit.” 

This triathlon, the first of its kind in the Middle East, a unique point-to-point triathlon passed by the Kingdom’s significant new and historic attractions was a huge success with over 1,000 athletes from all over the world watched by thousands of fans across Bahrain.

Ebrahim K. Kanoo has always focused its efforts to support sports activities and help athletes from novice to professional level to reach their full potential and develop their overall skills, as well as to motivate more involvement in social and sporting events.
