Bahrain Arabian Horse show concludes

The second and final day of the Bahrain Arabian Horse Show jointly organised by Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) and Bahrain Horse Society (BHS) saw strong competition between the competing stables from Bahrain and GCC countries at the Bahrain Defence Force Equestrian Centre in Sakhir.

On the second day of competition, five categories according to age groups were judged with the first for mares aged three years and above. The second and third were for mares born between 01/10/2014 and 30/06/2015 divided into two groups (A & B). The fourth included mares born between 01/10/2013 and 30/09/2014 and the fifth and final category was for mares born between 01/10/2012 and 30/09/2013.

The first category was dominated by the mare De Casba (90.63 points) of Al Nibras Stables, first places in the second and third categories went to went to the mares Zayim Al Jabriya (89.75) of Al Jabriya Stables and Zaki Al Rashidiya (90.5) of Al Rashidiya Stables.

In the fourth category, first place went to the mare Aali Sultan (90.88) of Aali Arabians Stables and the fifth category the mare SS Zilzal (90.75) of Al Ameer Stables.

The event was supported by the platinum sponsor Al Rashidiya Stables, golden sponsor Al Jasmi Stables, silver sponsor Al Shakhoora Stables and bronze sponsors Al Manama Stables, Al Jazeera Stables from Kuwait, Al Wawan Stables from Kuwait, Al Jazeera Stables from the UAE, Al Nibras Stables, Al Ameer Stables and Al Salam Stables from Kuwait.
