Bahrain to participate in 2016Paralympic Games
The Chairman of Bahrain Association for Handicapped Sports, Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, said the Kingdom of Bahrain is among the leading countries that support and care for sports of disabled persons and continually provides them with all services and support.
He hailed the support and attentiveness of the Kingdom's leadership and the encouragement and support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCY), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), to disability sports which culminated in a series of feats and results in all arenas.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that Rio Paralympic Games2016 in Brazil is considered one of the major events in which the Association will participate this year (2016) after four of its players have qualified for participation.
