Ahmed Zayani thrash MAC Superstar in T20

Manama : Ahmed Zayani defeated MAC Superstar by 42 runs in the latest matches of the Young Blaster sponsored BCL-CBA Golden League, T-20 at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Ahmed Zayani made 151 for 5 in its 20 overs with Faizan (51) and Sursh (37) being the main scorers and restricted MAC Superstar to 109 for nine with the only resistance from Nadeem (19) as Faizan (four for 20) and Sebin (three for 16) ripped through the batting.

In another match, Awali Bapco edged out Lions XI by eight runs as they made 174 for two in 15.5 overs thanks to fine knocks by Adrian (76) and good support from Amrish (39).

Lions XI in reply fell just short of the target scoring 173 for five despite fine efforts by Abdul (50) and Naeem (34) with Virein (two for 18) the best of the bowlers.
