Bahrain second in Al Ain Showjumping championship
Bahraini rider and member of Bahrain Royal Showjumping Team Khalid Helal Al Khatery won the second position of Al Ain Showjumping Championship, held today in the UArab Emirates.
Al Khatery’s victory came among immense participation of skilled international riders. He came second after Emirati rider Shaikh Majid bin Abdulla Al Qassimy who won the first place and ahead of Hadi Nizam from Syria who finished third.
The fifth and eighth places of the race went to Bahrain Royal Showjumping Team members Ahmed Mansoor and Ahmed Johrami.
Al Khatery expressed his joy for winning the second spot, adding that this is considered a valuable addition to the victories and gains of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the team.
He thanked HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee for his endless support to Bahraini athletes and jockeys.
