Real Madrid Academy lauded
Manama : HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, appreciated the big role played by Real Madrid Academy in Bahrain in improving the skills and talents of young students and promoting the values and morals of football.
The statements of Shaikh Nasser came during his reception of Mustafa Al Sayed, General Secretary of the Royal Charity Organisation and a delegation of Real Madrid Academy yesterday.
Shaikh Nasser was briefed about the latest achievements and programmes of the academy during the past years, and he lauded the humanitarian initiative of the academy to support orphans and widows in the Kingdom.
The RCO and Real Madrid Academy signed an agreement to renew the contract between the academy and the Spanish club after the first year of operation in Bahrain.
The academy is being operated by the RCO in cooperation with Bahrain Football Association.
