India beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in Asia Cup
Dhaka : India defeated Sri Lanka by five wickets to qualify for the final of the Asia Cup Twenty20 tournament at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 56 off 47 balls as tournament favourites India reached 142-5 in 19.2 overs after restricting Sri Lanka to 138-9 in 20 overs.
Medium pacer Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah claimed two wickets each for India giving away 26 and 27 runs respectively.
