Pellegrini declares Hart fit for PSG clash

London: Goalkeeper Joe Hart is fit for Manchester City's Champions League quarter-final, first leg against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, manager Manuel Pellegrini declared.

Hart was stretchered off after injuring his calf during City's 1-0 home defeat by Manchester United on March 20, but he was back in training on Tuesday, on the eve of the match at the Parc des Princes.

"Joe worked without any problem the last day," the Chilean said at a press conference in the French capital.

"Of course you always have risk with a player when they are coming back from injury but we made medical tests with Joe and he doesn't have any problems."

The return of the England number one comes as a boost to the Premier League side, who also had midfielder Fabian Delph, sidelined since early February with an Achilles problem, back in training on Tuesday.

However, influential midfielder Yaya Toure, who damaged his heel against United, captain Vincent Kompany and Raheem Sterling are on the sidelines.
