Kochi gets FIFA approval as U17 World cup venue
New Delhi : The visiting FIFA delegation has given a green signal to Kochi Stadium for the U17 World Cup, making it the first Indian venue to meet the international standards today.
FIFA’s 13 member team team arrived in the city, to discuss necessary change post the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) season yesterday.
“We are happy to announce Kochi as a venue for World Cup,” declared Tournament Director of LOC Javier Ceppi.(Sportskeeda)
