BOC hails MMA team’s success
Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) secretary general Mohammed Al Nusuf has extended his congratulations to members of the Bahrain national mixed martial arts team on their impressive achievement at the recently-concluded Africa Open Championships in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The nationals triumphed with seven medals in total – including four gold, one silver and two bronze – in this fourday event. During his reception of the delegation, led by BMMAA president Khalid Alkhayyat at the committee premises in Seef, Al Nusuf commended the results marked by the Bahraini athletes in such a challenging mixed martial arts championship.
