BLBT edge Oman national team
Bapco’s Ladies Basketball team played two matches against Oman Women’s National Basketball Team on Thursday and Friday during the training camp of the Omani team in Bahrain.
In the first match, Bapco suffered a two-point loss against Oman. The loss was attributed to the fact that Bapco’s players came directly from their workplace without adequate preparation, which had a negative impact on their performance during the match. On the second day, BLBT exhibited determination to win and was able to score and win by a large margin of 43/29.
The team was led by Captain Maryam Khalid who is a mother and a teacher who deserved praise and appreciation. At the end of the event, Dr. Fatima, the Omani team manager, thanked Bapco for the warm hospitality and excellent coordination.
