Matrix won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Shyju (72) scored a brilliant half century and was well supported by Jagan (30) who both helped Matrix to post 145 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Sameer took two wickets for Lions. Chasing the target, Lions were all-out for 119 runs and Matrix won by 26 runs. Yogesh (22) was the top scorer for Lions while Arun took two wickets for Matrix.
