Blue Sea lift KCA volleyball title
Blue Sea International defeated Al Reef Panasia-A in the final match of KCA – Zayani Motors International Volleyball Tournament 2019 on 25th October at KCA grounds. Blue Sea bagged the Championship with the score 25-13, 25-23 and 28-26. It was a thrilling match and Blue Sea overcame some stiff resistance in the last set to emerge winners of the tournament.
The entire premises and gallery were full with spectators and it was difficult to manage the supporters of the teams and the huge crowd. During the tournament several International players including members of current and previous Indian Volleyball squad, Bahrain National players and players from GCC played for various teams.
The trophies and cash awards for the winners and runner-up were distributed immediately after the Final. During the small official function, chief guest Tom Joseph (Arjuna Award Recipient and Former Indian Volleyball Team Captain), Guest of Honour Nahadha Fathima (Marketing Manager, Zayani Motors), KCA President – Sevi Mathunny, KCA General Secretary – Varghese Joseph and Tournament Convener Thomas Puthenveedan addressed the gathering.
