Disabled Federation announces holding third charity race
Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation will hold the 3rd Khalid bin Hamad Charity Race in collaboration with Bahrain Athletics Association on November 2, 2019, at Bahrain National Stadium.
The race will be supported by Bahrain Paralympic Committee and will take place at 3:00 pm. The event will be organised as part of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s initiatives that aim to enable disabled people to integrate with different segments of the society and to spread sports among people who have disabilities.
The race will begin at 3:30 pm and will cover various distances as per the category of the participants. It will feature a 3 km race for fit people, a 3 km cycling race for disabled competitors and many others.
