Indian Lions lift CBA division B T-20 Cup
Indian Lions lifted the CBA division B T-20 Cup sponsored by Excellence Training Solutions by defeating Strikers CC in the final played at Buasiteen ground last Friday.
The winning team bagged $500 cash prize, individual player trophies and team trophy while the runners-up bagged $300 cash money, individual player trophies and Team trophy. Satya from Indian Lions was awarded the Man of the Match trophy with $50 cash prize.
Meanwhile, BDS Bassali defeated BCC A in the Division A 40 over league organized by Cricket Bahrain Association. Batting first BCC A posted 140 runs as Fiaz top scored with 48 runs. For BDS Bassali Imran Javed, Tahir Darr and M. Saqi claimed 2 wickets each. In reply BDS chased target for the loss of 3 wickets.
Junaid Aziz top scored with 65 runs. BCC defeated AbuSaad Climax by 8 wickets in another fixture. Batting first AbuSaad Climax were all out for 82 runs while Ali Dawood claimed 6 wickets for BCC. In reply BCC chased the target for the loss of 2 wickets. Adnan Butt top scored with 38 runs.
