Lauren Parker achieves the Devonport Trophy Cup

Washington

Lauren Parker successfully opened her 2020 season while winning the Devonport Paratraethlone World Cup, reinforcing her victory in the Oceana Baratathlon Championship in Newcastle last January.

The world champion "PTC" won the two advanced swimming stages, and continued to advance firmly on the bike and finish the finish line four minutes before the end of the field.

Parker has dominated the two PTWC races in the past two years, despite sporadic swimming and cold weather conditions it faced in Devonport, winning in Newcastle despite calm waters and hot and humid weather, and Parker created its name as Sita to be observed at every start of the streak.

"I am continuing to improve, but there is still a lot of work to do and I can improve even better before the Tokyo Olympics, and the running stage itself will need more work," said Parker.

The next Parker race will be Sarasota-Bradenton with the Paratathlon World Cup on March 22nd which is set to make history as the first race for the International Triathlon Federation.
