Isa Town, Malkiya win in BFA Cup

Isa Town and Al Malkiya were both victorious last night in their opening matches of the 2020/2021 Bahrain Football Association (BFA) Cup.
Isa Town defeated Al Hala 1-0, while Malkiya overcame Sitra 3-2 in games held at separate venues.
On target for Isa Town in their win was Ahmed Al Mehza. The result put them atop Group B in the tournament’s current stage.
Meanwhile, firing in for Malkiya in their triumph were Ahmed Yousef, Sayed Hashem Adnan and Emad Abdulla. Sitra’s Sayed Qassem Alawi and Ali Al Asfour fired home scored in their team’s losing effort.
Malkiya rose to the top of Group C with their win.
Another match in the same pool was supposed to be played last night between Riffa and Al Ahli, but that game was postponed.
