Bahrain qualifies to Under-21 World Volleyball Championship

Bahrain has qualified for the World Under-21 Volleyball Championship which will be held from September 23 to October 3 in Italy and Bulgaria.
Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) has received an official correspondence, confirming the qualification, based on its impressive results in the U21 World Champion, which was held in 2019 in Manama.
Bahrain, which finished 8th in the previous championship was chosen among 16 teams to take part in the 2001 world championship.
BVA Chairman Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also congratulated HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCW) Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and SCYS First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
