KHK MMA’s Abbas Khan had an intense fight at BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night on March 18th against Egypt’s Omar El Dafrawy and came out a victor after showcasing the Bahrain-Dagestan grappling techniques of domination and control positions near the cage and on the floor.
The renowned boxer came back to the BRAVE CF cage with a new approach to mixed martial arts, but his roots as Pakistan’s Boxing Champion did not go in vain.
In an interview backstage, Khan opened up about almost finishing his opponent. “I almost knocked him out,” says Khan. “My skills are really good.
I was planning to win by striking, but I didn’t strike much, mostly wrestling.” A surprise to his fans across Bahrain and Pakistan, Khan dominated the fight on the ground against the Number two Middleweight in Egypt with exceptional grappling and ground control.
Khan is proud of his first victory at BRAVE CF and wants everyone to know that what is coming next in his career will be bigger, better, and different. “I won and I did really good,” says Khan. “You will see me, next time I will be different. Whenever I come back, I am different. My next show will be different.”
