Bahrain residents star of the show in virtual fan experiences

F1 fans living in Bahrain were stars of the show through a number of exciting fan-engagement activities as part of this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021.
These events have included a virtual meet-and-greet session where fans living in Bahrain were able to virtually meet their hero drivers and get an autograph from their favourite F1 drivers, along with a number of kids’ questions that were asked to the top flight’s global stars during a live F1 Press Conference. The Kingdom’s biggest sporting and social weekend are kicking off the 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. BIC’s fan-engagement activities have been a special treat that had given all those who participated in a truly fantastic experience to remember.
In the virtual meet-and-greet, a group of fans had the chance to interact with some of the sport’s biggest names who are taking to the Sakhir track this weekend for another unforgettable 57-lap night race under BIC’s bright lights.
Meanwhile, 10 lucky youngsters from Bahrain, all under the age of 13, were able to pose their very own questions which were asked to an F1 driver during a globally broadcast F1 press conference.
The questions, together with the driver’s answer, were heard across the globe by millions of fans who are tuning in to watch the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend’s events.
The questions that were put forward to the drivers ranged from funny, light-hearted queries to invaluable racing tips from the world’s very best. All these and so much more have added to the exciting experiences for Bahrain’s most dedicated F1 fans.
Tickets to the event are still available for all COVID-19 vaccinated or recovered individuals who are interested in attending the motorsport extravaganza.
They are being sold at a single discounted price of BD100 across stands. Comprehensive measures are in place at the circuit at all times to ensure spectators can enjoy the excitement of F1 in a safe environment.
