Bahrain head coach Helio Sousa said yesterday that “more fuel to the fire” has been given to the national team’s spirits following the visit of His Majesty the King’s humanitarian work and youth affairs representative, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to training on Tuesday night, accompanied by SCYS first vice-chairman, General Sports Authority president and Bahrain Olympic Committee chief His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
“For sure, it is very important every time HH Shaikh Nasser can give the pleasure of his presence,” Sousa said. “The continuous support from HH Shaikh Nasser gives us represents all the fans in Bahrain. “The work the government is doing to develop all sports, particularly football, makes us more aware and more prepared to give a little bit more fuel to our fire to be as best prepared as we can.”
