BRAVE CF nominated for best promotion at biggest MMA awards

Founded through the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to transform the MMA industry from an entertainment business to a sports business, BRAVE Combat Federation has firmly established its roots in the Kingdom of Bahrain before exporting the Bahraini brand worldwide and going beyond its borders to establish itself as one of the major players in mixed martial arts (MMA) today.
The most reputable award-giving body has recognized its efforts, nominating BRAVE CF for the Best Promotion of the Year at the 13th Annual Fighters Only World MMA Awards along with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Bellator MMA, Legacy Fighting Alliance and UAE Warriors.
Company president Mohammed Shahid is also nominated for the Leading Man of the Year award, joining the likes of UFC’s Dana White, MMA manager Ed Soares, IMMAF chief Densign White and Bellator boss Scott Coker in the said category.
Since its inception in 2016, BRAVE CF has been very active taking Bahrain across the globe and representing at the utmost levels, spearheading 52 live events in five continents.
The organization has brought a Bahraini brand into 23 different countries, including Russia, Sweden, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Mexico and the Philippines and being hosted in untapped markets like India, Pakistan, Columbia, Romania, South Africa, Morocco, Jordan and Italy.
In line with its strategy of building talents from the grassroots level, the promotion has signed more than 500 athletes from 70 different nations and has also been pivotal in the formation of local Bahraini homegrown stars such as Hamza Kooheji and Hussein Ayyad.
BRAVE CF’s strategic expansion has been credited to its unique business model that focuses more on the development of the sport per continent by creating an ecosystem following the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa which will empower governing bodies as well as help local leagues and their athletes gain international exposure.
Voting is now underway at worldmmaawards.com. It will conclude on Wednesday, September 8th. The venue and the date for the 13th Annual Fighters Only World MMA Awards ceremony will be announced in the coming weeks.
