Mohammed Darraj beats Roel Cruz

Mohammed Darraj of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) team defeated Roel Cruz of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) 228-181 in the step ladder final of the Bahrain Industrial Bowling League Masters Tournament with Handicap at Fun Land Bowling Centre in Manama.
Cruz had earlier beaten third place qualifier Nedhal Juma of the BDF 259-190 to qualify for the final, while rounding off the top five in the final week of the tournament were Mohammed Janahi of the Bapco team and Nasser Salem of the BDF out of the top players 12 in the round-round to determine the qualifiers for the step ladder.
The knockout competition is set for tonight with Ministry of Industry and Commerece (MOIC) taking on Banagas, Gulf Air vs Pioneers, Batelco vs Tatweer, Bapco vs EWA, Asry vs BDF and GPIC receiving a bye.
