Al Mubarak races to round four victory in Esport GT series

Ebrahim Al Mubarak won the fourth round of season three in the Bahrain Esport Gran Turismo Championship.
Driving a Viper SRT GT3-R ’15 car, Al Mubarak clinched the race victory in a total time of 23 minutes 19.912 seconds. The race took place over 11 laps along a virtual version of Belgium’s world-famous Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and Al Mubarak claimed his triumph from pole position.
He took the leading grid position with a best lap of 2:14.628 in Qualifying. Asif Vorajee was the runner-up while Hassan Khalil came third.
Abdulla Qamber posted the race’s fastest lap of 2:17.775.
The series’ third season features five rounds in all.
It is being run on the Gran Turismo Sport video game on the Sony PlayStation 4 or 5 platforms, which is officially licenced by the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
The stage is now set for the fifth and final round, which will take place on August 27 along with a virtual version of the Nurburgring.
Prize money is presented to the top three of each meeting, with the winner getting BD50, the runner-up BD30 and third place taking home BD20. Drivers earn points per event, which will go towards their championship classification.
At the end of the season, the winner will get BD500 in prize money, while second place will take home BD300 and third place BD200.
