The Kingdom of Bahrain’s representatives at the MMA World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic, had an incredible second day of competitions, earning six wins and moving the country closer to a historic record of 100 total medals in IMMAF competitions.

The wins were led in Junior competitions by Gimbat Magomedov, at Junior Lightweight and Murad Ibragimov, at Junior Flyweight.

They are inching ever closer to earning big results and getting Team Bahrain on top of their respective divisions.

In the senior brackets, four more fighters advanced to the next round, with Abdulla Mubarak moving up in the Bantamweight division, Magomedzagid Magomedov (Light Heavyweight), Mansur Magomedov (Flyweight), and Rasul Magomedov (Heavyweight) also advancing to the next round.

Team Bahrain is four medals short of completing a historic landmark of 100 medals in the IMMAF competition, thanks to the leadership and vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who had poured his hard work into the development of mixed martial arts in the Kingdom from a grassroots level and getting Bahrain on top of the world in the sport.
