Bahrain national football team kick off local training

Bahrain’s senior men’s national football team kicked off their latest training gathering last night in preparation for their upcoming competitions.
Head coach Helio Sousa has called up 26 players for this period of practices, which is scheduled to continue until October 12. Among the players on the squad list are Abbas Fadhel, Sayed Hashem Isa, Hazza Ali, Jassim Al Shaikh, Komail Alaswad, Mohammed Jassim Marhoon, Sayed Redha Isa, Sayed Mahdi Baqer, Sayed Shubbar Alawi, Ebrahim Luthfallah, Ahmed Bughammar, Sayed Dhiya Saeed, Mahdi Humaidan, Abdul wahab Al Malood , Waleed Hayam, Rashed Al Hooti, Ahmed Nabeel, Ammar Abbas, Mahd Abduljabbar, Abbas Ayyad, Mohammed Abdulwahab, Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Abdulla Hazza, Ali Haram, Ali Madan and Abdulla Yusuf.
The nationals are set to play a pair of international friendly matches in the coming two weeks, first against Curacao on October 6 and then New Zealand on October 12. Both games will be played at the National Stadium in Riffa.
