General Sports Authority to host conference for artificial intelligence in sport

Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the General Sports Authority, and in collaboration with Nasser Vocational Training Center and International Group of Artificial Intelligence will host the Bahrain International Conference for Artificial Intelligence in Sport on Thursday through the video technology.

The event, the first of its kind to happen in the Middle East, is the first step towards spreading the artificial intelligence culture which is considered the future trend for all sectors, according to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

His Highness added that the General Sports Authority is keen to open the door for all sportspeople in Bahrain to discover the best international practices related to modern technologies through this Conference, which will be followed by other practical steps via establishing smart partnerships with leading parties in this field which will help in achieving Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
