HH Shaikh Khalid hails achievements made by Bahrain Handball Association

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee hailed Bahrain Handball Association on winning the best Asian association in the period between 2017-2021 for the second consecutive year at the 23rd General Assembly of the Asian Handball Federation.

His Highness’ comments came as he congratulated MP Ali Isa Ishaqi who was elected as Vice President of the Asian Handball Federation HH Shaikh Khalid also escalated his sincere congratulations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister as well as to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs on the occasion.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: “We are proud of the accomplishments made by the Bahraini handball which are added to the series of achievements accomplished by the Bahraini sports which reflect our development at regional and international levels,” adding that these successes are clear evidence of the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the interest of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister which contributed to making exceptional accomplishments at all levels internationally.

HH Shaikh Khalid explained that occupying the Vice President post at the Asian Handball Federation and winning the Best Association reflects the quality cadres the Kingdom possesses as well as the efforts that Bahrain Handball Association exerts towards developing the handball game.
