Crown Prince’s Cup golf tournament set

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Crown Prince’s Cup annual golf tournament is scheduled to take place today and tomorrow at Bahrain Golf Club (BGC).
Ninety-five players are scheduled to compete in the event’s two categories.
The first is a stroke-play contest for BGC members, which will be held today.
Then, tomorrow, match play will take place between BGC and Awali Golf Club (AGC).
A total of 12 players will play six doubles matches, where the best ball of one of the two players counts.
BGC were the winners of the last edition of the tournament.
On this occasion, BGC president Shaikh Abdulla bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa and BGC vice-president Lt-Gen Thayeb bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, on half of the board and club members, expressed their sincerest thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his continuous support for golf.
The management and members of AGC and The Royal Golf Club also extend their sincerest thanks to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
