Almerisi wins East Riffa golf tournament

Khalifa Mohamed Almerisi was crowned champion of the East Riffa Sports Club golf tournament, held at Bahrain Golf Club. Almerisi clinched the title after carding a gross 67 in the round. He finished three shots ahead of runner-up Fahad Abdulla Alhakam, while Naser Saad Almehasni came third five shots back. The competition also had other winners on net scores.

In first with a 67 net score from a 71 gross was Mohammed Hamad Al Athem. Abdulaziz Mohamed Faraj finished second, also with a net 67 but with a gross 82 score. Mahran Alzayed came third with a net 68 and gross 74, while Abdulla Ahmed Alfedhala was fourth on a 68 net and 81 gross.

The rest of the net winners included Hamad Salem Alathem, Isa Khalifa Alrowaei, Ali Mesbah Alkaabi, Abdullah Isa Alqutami, Saud Hamag Alathem, Abdulla Ahmed Alhaji, Hussain Ahmed Salem, and Rashid Ahmed Alhaji.

The winners were awarded their respective prizes in a ceremony. It was attended by guest of honour East Riffa Sports Club president Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. The tournament was sponsored by East Riffa High Performance Centre.
