Bahrain Embassy in US marks Sports Day

Bahrain’s embassy in the U.S. has organised a wide variety of activities for its employees to mark Bahrain Sports Day. The celebration follows the decision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to mark Bahrain Sports Day.
It is also in line with the initiative of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the follow-up of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the General Sports Authority HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The event highlighted to the American community the significance of such commitment to health and safety in Bahraini society. The embassy encouraged its employees to practice sports and engage in physical activities to promote their overall health and wellbeing.
Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the embassy’s personnel and the military, security and cultural attaches expressed appreciation of the initiative that reflects the government’s support and interest in sports activity, health and physical safety.
