Shahico CC lift HPL 2021 Champions Cup

Shahico CC clinched the HPL Bahrain Cricket League title after beating Shaheen Group in the final match on Friday. Shahico CC elected to bat after winning the toss and set a target of 121, with Imran Aslam top-scoring for their team with 47 runs off 25 deliveries.

Shaheen was at the verge of chasing the decent target until their Batsman Natique was at the crease. Once he was out for 50 runs, the match was even and reached a nail-biting thriller until the last delivery.

Shaheen lost the match by 4 runs. Shahico won the Title of champions for 2021 organised by the HPL Bahrain which is now under modified cricket of Bahrain Cricket Federation.

All dignitaries were very happy with the progress of modified cricket headed by Adil Ahmed and expressed that their vision should be taken forward in all parts within the country, requesting the locals to participate and enjoy the fun-filled sport of cricket.
