Bahrain Embassy in UK organizes sports activities

Bahrain’s embassy in London held a sports event for the embassy’s employees with the participation Ambassador Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Bahrain marks its annual sports day which saw birth in line with the decision of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and in implementation of the initiative of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and with the follow-up of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) led by First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
This activity reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to embed sports culture and promote public health and healthy lifestyle and featured a variety of exercises, such as aerobics, running and a pe-arranged virtual disc shooting activity.
The ambassador affirmed the importance of diligent sports practice to preserve physical fitness and prevent health problems, especially during the pandemic, commending this qualitative initiative which would entrench the sports culture and make of it a lifestyle in Bahrain society.
