Manama cruise past Bahrain Club in basketball league

Manama maintained their unbeaten record in the Top Six division of the 2021/2022 Zain Bahrain Basketball League after cruising past Bahrain Club 106-87 last night at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.
Manama built an early advantage and never looked back. They went ahead 52-33 at the half and built leads as big as 28 points over the final two periods en route to the final buzzer.
The result was their third win in as many games in this stage of the season, while Bahrain Club suffered their second successive loss.
Ex-NBA forward Devin Ebanks top-scored for Manama with 37 points while also grabbing 11 rebounds.
Fellow-American Davion Berry added 18 and eight assists, while Ahmed Salman scored 15 including five three-pointers and Hassan Nowrooz scored 14 with four triples for Manama.
Former NBA champion Dexter Pittman paced Bahrain Club with 29 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
Ali Abbas and Rwandan import Kenny Gasana finished with 20 apiece. Top Six action continues today with two games on the schedule.
At 6.15 pm, two-time defending league champions Al Ahli face-off with Muharraq, who will be playing their first game in this stage.
That will be followed at 8 pm by Al Najma taking on Al Hala.
