HH Shaikh Isa highlights the need to reinforce interest in sports to boost aptitudes

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, yesterday received HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of Bahrain Martial Arts Council.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman commended HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s continued support to the Kingdom’s sports sector, which has enhanced its regional and international status.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman noted the great efforts led by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in promoting Bahraini sports and achieving the Kingdom’s goals, in this regard.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Hamad highlighted the efforts made by the General Sports Authority, headed by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for Bahraini sports at various levels. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman went on to further note the role of HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed in achieving the goals of the General Sports Authority.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Hamad highlighted the advanced levels and numerous successes of Bahraini athletes and stressed the importance of boosting further interest in the sports sector. HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed thanked HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman for his commitment to promoting the levels of sports in Bahrain.
