The stage is set for the final of this season’s His Majesty the King’s Cup football tournament, set to take place between Al Khaldiya and East Riffa tomorrow night.
The match is scheduled for a 6.15 pm kick-off and it will be played at the National Stadium in Riffa.
The technical coordination meeting for the game was held yesterday chaired by Bahrain Football Association secretary-general Rashid Al Zoubi.
It was attended by Khaldiya representative Adel Al Saadoun and East Riffa official Yaqoob Mohammed.
HM the King’s Cup football tournament is a knockout competition that is the richest in Bahrain. The champions each year receive $200,000 in prize money, while the runners-up get $80,000.
Khaldiya booked their place in the final following a win over Al Najma in the semis.
Khaldiya will be hoping to win their first King’s Cup trophy, which will also be their maiden championship at the top level in Bahrain football.
East Riffa, meanwhile, defeated two-time Cup holders Riffa.
They will be gunning for their fourth King’s Cup crown.
