Al Rumaihi bags double in Alba showjumping

Young showjumper Sultan Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi was unstoppable again as he bagged two titles in the juniors’ competitions, which took place as part of the Alba Showjumping Championship, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) at the Military Sports Federation, Al Raffa.
Al Rumaihi finished the first competition, which included 100cm hurdles, in 43.02 seconds, a whopping 14 seconds ahead of the runner-up Gabi Rose Walker, while Fares Yahya posted a time of 41.76 seconds and came third due to the four faults he committed.
Al Rumaihi went on to win the second contest which featured 110cm hurdles, and this time clocked 33.52 seconds, although with four faults. He also claimed the second position after participating on a different horse, posting 34.55 seconds with four faults in his second attempt. Charlotte Tecquin came third in 37.59 seconds.
