The Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is a truly global event, and this year’s race weekend at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is bringing together drivers from 34 countries across six of the seven continents.

There are a total of 95 motor racing talents set to hit the track in Sakhir from Friday to Sunday.

F1 boasts 20 of the world’s biggest superstars, while there will be 22 competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, 30 in the FIA Formula 3 Championship and another 23 in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East.

A large number of the drivers are from Europe, flying the flags of countries such as Great Britain, the Netherlands, Spain, Monaco, France, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Switzerland, Israel, Turkey, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Austria and Poland.

North America is represented by drivers from Canada, the US and Barbados, while South America sees competitors from Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

There are also drivers from Australia and New Zealand from the Australia/Oceania continent, while Asia is being represented by challengers from Japan, Thailand, China, India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022 is set to be a once-in-a-generation event, following the introduction of sweeping new regulations and the huge design evolution of the F1 cars.

Fans in the Kingdom will have the privilege of being the first in the world to experience the pinnacle of motorsport like it was never before seen.

F1 hospitality has completely sold out including the F1 Paddock Club, BIC’s corporate lounges and the Bahrain Grand Prix Club.

Tickets to the Main Grandstand and Turn One Grandstand have also already sold out, and only a limited number remain for the Batelco Grandstand, University Grandstand and Victory Grandstand.

Those wishing to attend the race weekend must purchase their tickets immediately to avoid missing out on the biggest sporting occasion of the year.

Tickets can be bought online at BIC’s official website bahraingp.com, by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17-450000, at the BIC stand in City Centre Bahrain or at the sales tent located at Sakhir Petrol Station en route to the circuit.

Ticket discounts are available for children aged three to 12 years old at 50 per cent off, with reductions also available for students, those with special needs and senior citizens.
