The scheduled events at F1 Fans Village in Adliya were cancelled last evening owing to adverse weather conditions.
“This evening’s Beyon Money F1 Fan Village has been cancelled,” said a social media post by the Bahrain International Circuit last night. “Safety is our primary concern and this decision has been made in order to protect our fans and those working at the venue,” the post added.
The entertainment area, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, features a host of motorsport and Bahrain-themed entertainment, music and activities.
There is a 2022 F1 car display, a chance to have a photo with the F1 World Championship trophy, an F1 “Pic Stop” and an Esports Zone.
There is also the main stage with daily live music performances to liven up the festival atmosphere, together with DJs, roaming performers, street artists and plenty of other colourful attractions for the whole family to enjoy.
Visitors are also able to experience a number of special Bahrain Craft stands in the F1 Village, showcasing the very best of Bahrain's modern and traditional craft.
