Abdullah Ali wins stage two of Nasser bin Hamad Tour

Abdullah Ali of the Bike Zone team won the second stage of Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour for Amateur Cyclists to take the red jersey. Ali Hassan Jawad is leading the Tour after two stages and he has the yellow jersey.
The blue jersey went to Jassim Mohammed Hussain of the Bahrain Giant team while the white jersey was given to Saber Mohammed of the Bike City team. Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Combat Sports Council and Dr Abdulrahman Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Cycling Association crowned the winners of the second stage.
The event is being organised by Faalyat company in collaboration with Bahrain Cycling Association. Commenting on this, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the wide participation which was witnessed in the second stage, stating that it reflects that the event is heading on the right path to meet the goals set out for holding it.
His Highness explained that the success achieved in the first and second stages will contribute to motivating the participants to conclude the event on a high note. Abdullah Ali was followed by Shehab Qashumi of the Bahrain Giant team and Ali Hassan Jawad of the Bike Zone team respectively in yesterday’s stage that covered a distance of 85km in Sakhir.
