HH Shaikh Khalid attends Strongest Bahraini Man Championship

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), was present to watch the Strongest Bahraini Championship in the light and middle weights which was held as part of the 2022 Strength Week.

The Week is organised by His Highness' Media Office in collaboration with Bahrain Weightlifting Federation as well as KHK Sports. It is taking place from March 21 to 26 at the arena opposite the Avenues Mall - Bahrain and its part of Khalid bin Hamad Initiatives for supporting sports.

Also present in the event were HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the GSA along with many other officials and VIP guests.

Commenting on the event, HH Shaikh Khalifa praised the performance featured throughout the event, stating that the Bahraini youth proved their enormous capabilities and abilities in the event which requires high strength and physical fitness.

Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated the winners and wished the other participants the best of luck.

The 2022 Strength Week will conclude on Saturday with the organisation of the 2nd Strongest GCC Man in the heavyweight. The first edition was dominated by the Bahraini participants who swept the podium.
