Riffa Tennis Club hires Tunisian coach for women’s team

Riffa Tennis Club (RTC) has contracted with Tunisian coach Soulayma Al Banna for one year to train the club’s women’s team. The team includes eight players, who engage in continuous training twice a week.
Soulayma has a distinguished training history and good experience in developing players, which is what the club relies on through this cooperation. On this occasion, RTC director Iyad Al Alawi said that the club’s contract with Soulayma is an important step in building and forming a strong women’s team to raise the levels of the players to the best possible levels.
Al Alawi pointed to the importance of the presence of the women’s team in the club, as this comes in line with the aspirations and vision of the club to encourage women to enter the sports field, especially in the game of tennis, pointing out that the Kingdom has recently witnessed a great demand from women to play the game and must will find suitable clubs and facilities that can attract them and develop their levels.
For her part, Soulayma expressed her happiness in working with RTC and for being a part of the project to develop the women’s team.
