Manama
Bahraini professional fighter Hamza Kooheji of team Khalid bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) is continuing his daily preparations for the mixed martial arts tournament "Desert Force", set to begin in the Jordanian capital Amman next Monday at the Al Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena, where he will meet with Jordanian fighter Ghalib Harahsheh.
AL Kooheji is focusing on raising his technical and tactical level through training sessions under the supervision of his coach and trainers.
For the past two weeks, he has been in the process of losing weight by drinking water and reducing salts and meals, in order to reach the right weight for the tournament.
His training programme began two months ago and includes running exercises over long and short distances on soft sand and swimming, including training sessions in boxing and martial arts.
The event features many top professionals from the region and coincides with Jordan's National Day and will be part of these celebrations.
