2 Seas Motorsport enjoyed fine results yesterday in the opening round of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship, held at Oulton Park in the UK. Their #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 challenger driven by James Cottingham and Lewis Williamson took fifth place overall in race one before sister team Sky Tempesta Racing with Kevin Tse and Chris Froggatt in their #93 Mercedes-AMG GT3 stepped onto the podium for race two in third.

Race one saw Cottingham and Williamson complete the 37-lap event in a time of one hour one minute and 06.153 seconds. They finished 18.283 seconds behind winners Balfe Motorsport. Tse and Froggatt were classified 12th overall in that race. Later yesterday, race two saw Tse and Froggatt claim their impressive podium finish.

They took third in 1:30.10.057 after 29 laps—just 4.004s behind winners Paddock Motorsport. Cottingham and Williamson were not classified having completed just 14 laps in the race before retiring. It was a solid start to the season for the 2 Seas Motorsport pair of contenders. 2 Seas are now set to compete in the next meeting of the campaign, scheduled for May 7 and 8 at Silverstone.
