Title-winning duo join 2 Seas roster for select British GT events

Bahraini-British motor racing team 2 Seas Motorsport have confirmed the addition of title-winning pairing Flick Haigh and Jonny Adam to the team’s line-up for select rounds this season in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship 2022.

Haigh and Adam are the 2018 series champions, and they will be reunited for the first time since they took the title. They will initially be joining the action from the upcoming second round of the season in Silverstone this Saturday and Sunday, before also competing with 2 Seas in Snetterton in June and Brands Hatch in September.

The pair will run in a second Mercedes-AMG GT3 of 2 Seas Motorsport, alongside the full-season entry of James Cottingham and Lewis Williamson. 2 Seas co-owner His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa commented: “It is a real coup for us to confirm that Flick and Jonny will be reunited to take on these additional British GT events.

“Flick secured the title on her debut, which is a huge result, and remains the only female driver to have achieved this. “Jonny has proved on multiple occasions to be the class of the field and is one of the most successful drivers in the history of the championship.

“It is really exciting to bring them back together, and we are excited to see them both competing with us in the MercedesAMG.” Haigh and Adam are currently carrying out a testing programme with 2 Seas. They continue to gain track experience with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 ahead of their return to the British GT paddock this weekend.
