Bahrain women’s team set for T20 Asia Cup pre-qualifier

Bahrain’s Women’s cricket team is off to Malaysia as one of the ten nations that will be vying to win the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup pre-qualifying tournament.
Teams will be divided into two groups and shall play a single round-robin lending the top two teams from each group to qualify for the semi-finals followed by the finals.
The matches will be played at Kinrara Oval and YSD UKM Oval. Recently the Chairman of the advisory board of BCF, Mohammad Mansoor met Jay Shah, President of the Asian Cricket Council, in the ACC Meet in Sri Lanka and handed over the blueprint of Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF).
Jay Shah was elated to see the return of the ACC Women’s T20. President of Bahrain Cricket Federation, Hatim Dadabai, wished the women’s team all the very best.
Chairman to the Advisory Board, Mohammad Mansoor said that Bahrain’s matches with Kuwait, Hong Kong, Nepal, and Bhutan are expected to be thrilling. Bahrain’s first match is against Kuwait on June 17th and he’s expecting that the girls to play to the best of their ability.
