Shaikh Khalid praises Al Najma’s title triumph in Gulf clubs handball

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has congratulated the president, board, members and fans of Al Najma Club on winning the 2022 GCC Handball Cup, held in Kuwait in the period between June 04 and 12.

His Highness expressed his great pride in the team’s title victory, which is the sixth in the history of this competition, stating that this win reflects the remarkable development reached by the Bahraini handball.

Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid praised the strong performance levels showcased by the team throughout the competitions of this tournament, adding that the displays were evidence of Al Najma’s great preparations that preceded its participation, and the spirit, determination and desire of the team’s players to achieve victories and bag the title of this edition of the tournament.

His Highness praised the distinguished efforts produced by the club’s management, headed by Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, in creating all the appropriate conditions for the team to ideally prepare to compete in this tournament, wishing the team every success in the upcoming tournaments.
