Faris Al Fursan’s female jockeys have achieved great results at Jordan International Endurance Championship which covered a distance of 100 km. The event witnessed wide participation, and the Bahraini stable came fifth in the competition thanks to its jockey Dalal Al Sayegh, although this was the team’s debut international outing.

The strong performance of the Bahrainis came after undergoing a training camp in Jordan under the supervision of its trainer Ammar Rabea. “We greatly benefited from the training camp, especially that this was our first participation in an international event after gaining a good experience locally. We are following a plan we designed to ensure we are progressing towards our goals.

We are largely proud of the result we accomplished as it confirmed that we are moving on the right track,” Rabea said. “I take this opportunity to thank HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) for the facilities provided to us by the Federation to ensure that our training camp was a great success,” he added, before concluding by praising the efforts of the Jordan Equestrian Federation to make them feel at home.
