Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) was last week visited by Gambia Tennis Association president Saul Frazer. Frazer was welcomed by BTC president Khamis Almuqla, BTC members Dr Faisal Al Mosawi and Mirza Al Sammak, BTC financial controller Khalid Ghuloom Ali, and club manager Hamdi Abdul Jawad.
He was given a tour of the BTC’s facilities, which the Gambian tennis boss hailed for its high international standards. The venue features 10 international standard courts, including a grandstand main court that can accommodate 500 spectators and 65 VIPs.
The grandstand also includes its own VIP room, security room, kitchen, restrooms and a lounge for players. Following his tour, Frazer held a discussion with Almuqla, during which they talked about a collaboration between BTC and the GTA in Hosting and Inviting members and players for international events in the future. The visit ended with Almuqla presenting Frazer a memento in appreciation for his interest in BTC.
